My Sharing My Identity Belief With an Air Force Mechanic

On October 15, 2016, I was at my favorite spot here in Hannibal, sitting on a bench near the Mark Twain statue in Riverview Park, 300 feet above the Mississippi River from where one can see a beautiful panoramic view looking about eight miles across fertile Illinois farmland across this mighty river. A man in his late 30s, I'm guessing, from central Illinois visited with me and I learned that he is in the Air Force and his job is to maintain the engines of military aircraft. I told him that that sounds like a job in which you need many people to overlook the work of others to make sure that it's done correctly. He replied, "We call it trying to do a perfect job by imperfect human beings."

I eventually gave him a Luke 21:25a/Matthew 24:29-30a prophecy card and I thoroughly explained it to him and I mentioned that I had been publicizing this to addressees of power and authority to which he asked me, "Why?" I replied, "Oh, because I was predestined to." He replied, "Can you tell me why?"

I groaned and told him, "Oh, that's a long story."  He replied, "Well, can you give me the CliffsNotes version?" For the first time in a very long time of doing this with a total stranger, I explained to him the full process of my discovery and when I told this man of my psychiatrist's advice in my last session with him, which was "Don't talk about it," we both paused and I told him, "I'm making an exception right now because I'll never see you again. He was meaning don't go to the media and that sort of thing."

Near my summing all of this up, I told him, "On Internet discussion boards----where you're anonymous---I tell people that all of those 'apparent' prophecies in (the Book of) Revelation just serve as placeholders for these two prophecies (Revelation 11:3 & Revelation 12:5) through 19 centuries of time until this particular Bible falls into the hands of this particular person (me),.......which was December, '88." I then gave him one of my Revelation 12:5 // 1/2 Revelation 11:3 business cards and I told him, "Within three seconds of analyzing 'iron rod', I saw my 'felt pen' and 'female name'." I told him, "I enclose both of those cards in each one of my letters."

As we were both getting into our vehicles to leave the park, this man told me, "It was really good talking to you."

Actually, this particular Bible "fell into my hands" on November 22, 1988 when I purchased it at a religious book store in Poplar Bluff, Missouri in preparation to go to a church camp that Denise had invited me to in early December, 1988. And get ready for another unusual coincidence. When I found the canceled check a few years ago that I used to purchase this Bible, I quickly noticed that I purchased this Bible on the 25th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
